In Gloucestershire, a Community Help Hub has been established for any resident needing support to cope with the changes to their lifestyles made in order to delay the spread of COVID-19.
If a person contacts the hub requesting help with prescriptions and/or medical appointments, the hub will refer these into the NHS Volunteer Responder scheme. Where District Councils have already linked people up with volunteers, those arrangements will remain in place.
